We collaborated very intensively for 14 years with Sportina Group, one of the biggest fashion retailers in South-Eastern Europe. Working on the Emerging markets, one of the ambitions was to be the first who will bring the high-end fashion brands on the market. As luxury brands like Burberry, Dolce&Gabbana, Zegna and others demanded proper adjacencies, we started developing a Premium multi-brand large scale retail format of approx. 2000 sqm, called XYZ Premium Fashion Store.

 

We were in the development team from the early beginning, starting from the concept development together with a leading retail architectural company from Dusseldorf, selecting brands, developing brand identity, visual merchandising standards and marketing strategy, setting all retail operations and recruit retail and merchandise (buying) management staff. 

Our flagship store in Belgrade was very well accepted by customers and professionals. The uniqueness of the store concept was so called catwalk, an area where we presented novelties and it could be turn into a proper event venue. In-fact, the same sound and lightning technology that is used in fashion shows, was built inside the store. We hosted many in-store events, from our catwalk shows and presentation to important co-branding events with Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Coca-Cola, and other important brands. 

XYZ was not just a store, but an incubator of fashion trends. Brands loved to be part of the concept and shopping malls we’re proud to have such a store inside their premises, so we quickly started with the roll-out and in 3 years we already had 6 big XYZ Premium fashion stores in 5 countries and became the most important regional high-end fashion retailer.

Growing fast is challenging, but maintaining high-standard every day retail operations is somehow even more difficult, because Premium Retail is very service orientated. Investing in effective corporate training programs for sales associates is essential for retail organizations.

We’re usually asked to assist our clients in production and design of retail related training materials, from new-sales assistant onboarding kit up to new product rollouts or presentation of seasonal fashion trends. Good retail training is essential to create a shopping experience. It also helps to create brand advocacy among employees and teaches them how to transmit the brand values to their customers.
