Business Follows Purpose

The Power of Why

Knowledge provides the right answers, but intelligence lies in asking the right questions.

One question that is for us thought to answer is: 'In which business are you in?' Are we into advising, delivery of solutions, or creativity? The most fitting response, in my opinion, is 'It doesn't matter.' Our profound expertise spans the creative and consumer goods industries, where we empower brands to boost sales. Our abiding interest lies in understanding the dreams and aspirations of the end consumer. What do we call this unique business? The closest definition might be 'marketing innovations.' Marketing is a vast realm encompassing all efforts to persuade customers to embrace what you offer. And, as consumers continually seek the new, we must infuse innovation into marketing.

As Peter Drucker aptly put it, 'Business has only two functions – marketing and innovation.' On the other hand, one question that resonates with me is 'why.' The power of 'why' is undeniable. Consider children; they incessantly ask 'why.' Why this frequent questioning? To unravel the intricacies of how the world operates, isn't it?

In our introductory meetings, we, too, pose the question 'why.' 'Why' bestows purpose. Purpose serves as our North Star, guiding us as we navigate the seas of innovation.
